Qatar Airways Group confirms that Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Akbar Al Baker, after an impressive 27 years of service, will step down from his current position as Group Chief Executive effective November 5, 2023 and will be succeeded by Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer as Group Chief Executive for Qatar Airways. He is currently COO of Doha Hamad International Airport.
