ANWB Reizen is reintroducing the Fox travel brand. In addition to ANWB trips, customers will soon be able to book trips with Fox. The ANWB announced Wednesday. With Fox, as an expert in tours, ANWB Reizen aims to reach a wider audience. The fox.co.uk website will go live in early December. The travel brand, which originated in 1996, was absorbed into ANWB Reizen in 2021, eliminating the FOX name. Now the name is making a comeback. Unlike the past, Fox now focuses on European destinations as well as far-flung destinations. As before, Fox targets families, couples and individual travelers, whether they prefer group or individual tours. Fox thus nicely complements the current offering of ANWB Reizen, which is becoming increasingly focused on travel with member benefits. While ANWB offers a wide range of ANWB Travel through its own channels – from city trips to car tours and from vacation parks to group tours – Fox specializes entirely in round trips that can also be booked through third parties. In December, the first trips will be bookable on fox.nl and at cooperating travel agencies, for both the Dutch and Belgian markets. The offer will be further expanded in 2024. Fox will be introduced with a marketing campaign, including the launch of its website, the release of a new brochure and a presence at the January 2024 Holiday Fair. TravMagazine reported late last week that ANWB wanted to revive the now-defunct FOX travel brand. This would also apply to Pharos Reizen, but there is no mention of this in the ANWB statement.
