This year’s Reiswerk Travel Challenge will take place in a part of the Algarve that is still unknown to many: Serra de Monchique. In the middle of the mountains, between the woods and a short distance from the beach; according to Reiswerk, there is no better backdrop for the tenth edition of this event. After the successful Travel Challenge in Fuerteventura last year, no fewer than sixteen students have been given a job at one of the participating partners. The Travel Challenge is a five-day event in which 64 top students from various universities of applied sciences work in teams on a business case. The teams are guided by experts from the travel industry and education. Together they will fight for the win for five days. An unforgettable experience awaits the students. They can count on an instructive experience and a great transfer of knowledge from the real experts in the industry. A large and solid network in the travel industry is therefore guaranteed. Perhaps the best thing about this event is the impact the students can make. The business case is made in collaboration with the Tourism Board of Portugal, education and the professional field. It is therefore a real case in the sign of sustainability. The Who-is-the-mole?-like games will not be missing from this year’s program either! Of course, with an educational twist. Students can apply via the
website of Reiswerk.
