In order to meet the increasing demand for car rentals, Sunny Cars has expanded its range considerably. In Ecuador, Hungary, Mexico, the Czech Republic, Singapore and the Netherlands, new partners have been added, providing more choice in rental locations and car types. With 120 countries and more than 5,000 destinations, Sunny Cars already has a huge range of rental locations. Nevertheless, new partners are being added all the time. This ensures more availability, but also a more extensive network of rental locations and a greater choice of car types. In Spain and Italy, new services are being offered with existing partners to speed up the collection process. This allows the renter to enjoy the unlimited kilometers included in Sunny Cars more quickly after arriving at his holiday destination. In addition, a product was developed in Mallorca that includes the GPS and child seats. At the airports of Naples, Catania, Rome Fiumicino and Palermo, the possibility of online check-in and use of the fast lane has now also been added as an extra service by several existing partners. With the online check-in, the customer registers in advance and the rental contract is ready at the holiday destination. This shortens the waiting time at the counter. With fastlane, the customer can also skip the regular queue and is therefore more likely to get their turn. New at the airports of Palma de Mallorca, Alicante and Malaga is the possibility to pick up the rental car contactless. After registering at home, the customer receives a barcode with which he can open a box at the destination where the rental contract and car keys are ready. So you can quickly get into the rental car, without contact with a desk clerk. In Mallorca, a completely new product has been developed where the customer can add all possible extras such as a second driver, child seat and GPS to the contract free of charge. This is in addition to the contactless pick-up service. Also, no deposit needs to be left behind. So it’s just a matter of taking the keys out of the machine and driving away. “Because a carefree customer experience is of paramount importance to us, we are constantly looking for ways in which we can offer the customer even more driving pleasure,” says Hans Knottnerus, Managing Director Netherlands, Belgium & France. “For example, we see that more and more customers want to spend as little time as possible picking up the rental car. That’s why we’ve expanded these options for our top countries Italy and Spain.
