
On a Singapore Airlines flight from London to Singapore, a 73-year-old man from England died as a result of severe turbulence. Nearly 30 other occupants, including members of the crew, were injured. The Boeing 777-300ER was flying at an altitude of more than eleven kilometers when it made a free fall of almost two kilometers in a few minutes. After ten minutes, a rapid descent was initiated for an emergency landing in Bangkok. There were 211 passengers and 18 crew members on board. According to sources, the 73-year-old man has had heart problems for some time. It is suspected that he suffered a heart attack as a result of the turbulence. In addition to the dead, almost 30 people were injured, 7 of them seriously. They were injured when they hit their heads against the overhead bins.
