The members of FNV and CNV agree with the recently achieved collective labor agreement negotiation result. This means that the agreements on a new collective labor agreement are final, reports the ANVR. In the coming years, the texts for the new collective labor agreement will be finalized, which will run from July 1, 2024 to July 1, 2026. “We are happy and satisfied that we have completed an intensive process to arrive at a new collective labor agreement,” says Frank Radstake of the ANVR. “We understand that the members of the trade unions have taken a critical look at the result. By opting for a nominal instead of a percentage increase, everyone gets exactly the same full-time gross income, but that means different in percentage terms for every employee, of course.’ In addition to the nominal increases of 175 and 125 euros respectively as of 1 July 2024 and 1 July 2025, the minimums and the ceilings of the scales will also be significantly increased. “In doing so, we are future-proofing the wage structure of the travel industry,” says Radstake. “In the coming week, we will agree on the new collective labor agreement texts. Most of these are already on paper. This is also where we arrange the new agreements on, for example, vacation days, travel allowance and working from home allowance. ́ The new collective labor agreement means that employees in the travel industry will receive an additional 300 euros gross salary per month for the next two years. Radstake described the result achieved
previously in TravMagazine as the ‘by far best collective labor agreement result ever’.
