RIU Hotels & Resorts has opened a new hotel in downtown Chicago. The Riu Plaza Chicago is the Spanish chain’s fifth urban hotel in the United States and the eleventh in the world. The new four-star hotel with 390 rooms is strategically located in the heart of Chicago, in the famous and globally known shopping district Magnificent Mile. ‘The Rooftop’ bar on the 27th floor, which will open in September, gives guests and visitors a panoramic view of the city.
