From November, Corendon offers holidaymakers a new combination: a stay in Zanzibar with an adventurous safari in Tanzania.
Travelers can choose from an optional one-day safari or an extended three-day safari.
The price is from 1,799 euros per person.
According to Corendon, this vacation option is ideal for families with young children or for travelers who want to have their first safari experience.
Included in both Tanzania safaris are all transfers and a round-trip flight from Zanzibar to Mikumi or Mere Airstrip, a game drive, entrance fees, an English-speaking driver/guide plus lunch and bottled water.
The three-day safari also includes a boat and walking safari and a two-night stay on a full board basis.
During their stay in Zanzibar, guests can take a one-day visit to Mikumi National Park, especially for those who are short on time but still want to see a wide range of wildlife.
Located next to the sprawling Selous Game Reserve, Mikumi National Park offers a chance to spot buffalo, giraffe, elephant, lions, pythons, zebras, and crocodiles.
This safari is not included in the package tour and can be booked on site.
For those who have more time and want a deeper safari experience, Corendon offers the three-day Safari Selous.
The Selous Game Reserve in southern Tanzania covers an area of more than 50,000 square kilometers and is the largest game reserve in Africa.
The reserve is home to lions, hippos, buffaloes, wildebeests, elephants and giraffes.
What is special is the presence of the rare wild dog, which makes Selous one of the few places in the world where these animals can be spotted, says Corendon.
The Rufiji River is the lifeblood of the reserve, flowing through a landscape that ranges from open savannahs, water features to dense forests, each with its own unique wildlife. (Photo: Shutterstock). [
