The ANVR-GfK figures for June this year show that the growth in bookings has come to an end (0 percent).
The total market growth in the first half of 2024 will thus be 5 percent.
At 72 days (plus two), the accounting period was almost the same as last year.
As far as destinations are concerned, the picture is mixed.
Interest in destinations outside Europe was somewhat smaller, with the exception of Asia.
Within Europe, there is no particular trend.
Countries with an increase of 20 percent or more in bookings in June were Sweden (+23 percent) and the UK/Ireland (+20 percent).
The Czech Republic recorded a decrease of 20 percent.
