Transavia will no longer fly to Lebanon this summer season.
With this decision, the company wants to provide clarity for the coming months and avoid last-minute cancellations.
Transavia announced the news on Monday.
Due to the heightened tensions in the border region with Israel, it had previously been decided to avoid Lebanon’s airspace until at least 7 August, based on KLM Security’s advice.
Transavia usually flies to Beirut four times a week.
Flights to and from Tel Aviv (Israel) and Amman (Jordan) had previously been removed from the schedule, mainly due to the halted demand for those destinations.
There will be no flights to Tel Aviv until the end of March 2025.
