BBI Travel expands its range of winter sports destinations with the friendly Idre Fjäll in Sweden.
BBI Travel’s winter sports flights to the Scandinavian Mountains are hugely successful.
The snow-sure area gained a lot of attention after the Christmas special of All You Need is Love, which resulted in an increase in online searches and bookings.
Also this year, BBI Travel offers direct charter flights from Groningen Airport Eelde and Schiphol to Scandinavian Mountains Airport.
From there, a transfer bus takes travelers quickly to the ski resorts of Trysil, Stöten, Sälen and the new destination Idre Fjäll.
Idre Fjäll Popular with the Dutch, Idre Fjäll is located in the north of Dalarna, Sweden, a two-hour drive from the airport.
In the summer you can go hiking, mountain biking and foraging here.
In winter, it’s a cozy ski resort with friendly locals and plenty of activities for non-skiers.
The ski area has 41 kilometers of slopes, ranging from green to black, and several restaurants and bars.
Families can come here for child-friendly ski courses and the mascot Aske provides extra fun. Activities In addition to skiing, Idre Fjäll offers snowmobile tours, dog sledding and cross-country skiing opportunities with 100 kilometers of trails.
For a unique experience, you can discover the Sámi culture on a snowshoe hike with reindeer.
From Wednesday to Saturday there is après-ski in Värdshuset.
