Stip Travel has entered into a multi-year strategic partnership with Costa Cruises. The agreement was concluded in the port city of Genoa. In the summer season of 2025 (from April to October), eight-day cruises to the Mediterranean Sea with the Costa Smeralda (****+) will start, in combination with our own weekly air charter. These new cruise voyages, called ‘La Dolce Vita’, are offered by both Stip Reizen and Corendon. The travel organization will also significantly expand the cooperation with other cruise ships of Costa Cruises from next winter and summer. Stip Reizen, which claims to be the largest partner for Costa Cruises in the Benelux since 2010, intensifies its cooperation even further with this new agreement. Costa Cruises is part of Carnival Corporation & plc., the world’s largest cruise operator. An important part of this collaboration is setting up our own air charters for the Dutch cruise market, starting cruises with the Costa Smeralda in 2025. “This is unique in the Netherlands, as no other party structurally uses its own charters for cruises,” says Fred Verlinden, director of Stip Reizen. From the summer of 2025, Stip Reizen will offer its own charter flight from Amsterdam to Genoa on Fridays every week with a new Boeing MAX 900 from Corendon Dutch Airlines. These flights take place from April to June and in September and October. “It gives us the opportunity to offer complete packages, on a large scale and at very attractive prices. This makes cruises easily accessible to an even larger target group.’ In July and August, scheduled KLM services (or equivalent) will also be used for these cruises. (Photo: Corendon/Costa).
