EasyJet will launch flights from Schiphol to Southampton (England) next autumn.
This new destination is in addition to the previously added destinations of Madeira, Larnaca, Tromsø, Pristina and Sharm El Sheikh to the winter schedule.
With the addition of Southampton, EasyJet expands its offer from Schiphol to 40 destinations.
EasyJet claims to be the second airline at Schiphol.
This new route strengthens connectivity between the Netherlands and the United Kingdom and offers both business and leisure travellers an easy connection to the south of England, the company says.
The new route will be operational from 28 October.
Tickets are already on sale.
During the winter months, there is a flight from Amsterdam to Southampton every Monday and Friday.
Southampton, on the south coast of England, is a historic city with a rich maritime history and a gateway to the scenic regions of southern England, including the New Forest and the Isle of Wight.
The town itself offers a mix of modern amenities, shops, and cultural attractions.
It is therefore an attractive destination for a short holiday. (Photo Shutterstock).
