Users of the Uber app can now earn Flying Blue miles for flights with Air France and KLM.
Uber is the official ride-hailing partner of Flying Blue, the company reports.
Uber riders can earn Flying Blue miles on every Uber trip in the Netherlands and France.
Flying Blue is the loyalty programme of KLM and Air France.
Flying Blue members who link their account in the Uber app earn 1 mile for every euro they spend on Uber rides.
This increases to 2 miles per euro for customers who make four or more trips per month.
Flying Blue has 24 million members worldwide.
The miles can be used for worldwide flights, upgrades and extras such as electronics, beauty products and designer jewellery.
The partnership is available to both users from the Netherlands and visitors who link their Flying Blue account in the Uber app and ride with Uber in any city in France and the Netherlands.
New data from Uber shows that one in seven trips in Paris and Amsterdam starts or ends near an airport, says the taxi transport broker. (Photo Shutterstock).
