JetBlue has good news for passengers making the transatlantic crossing in Mint Suites and Studios.
JetBlue has announced plans for the first-ever airport lounges, which will open in late 2025 at Terminal 5 of John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York and shortly thereafter at Terminal C of Boston Logan International Airport (BOS).
The introduction of lounges is a step in the ‘JetForward’ strategy, which aims to meet the growing demand for premium services.
“Customers have been asking for a JetBlue lounge for years, and we can’t wait to showcase our version in New York and Boston,” says Marty St.
George, president of JetBlue.
“Lounges have become an essential service for the growing number of customers looking for premium experiences. JetBlue’s lounges will further enhance the value of our TrueBlue loyalty program as we expand our JetBlue credit card offerings.” According to JetBlue, airport lounges have become increasingly popular, leading to overcrowding and long wait times in other airline lounges.
Access to JetBlue’s lounges will therefore be reserved mainly for the most loyal customers and premium credit card holders.
Free lounge access will be available to the following customers: New JetBlue Premium Credit Card Holders (details coming soon), TrueBlue Mosaic 4 members and Transatlantic Mint customers.
