NDC has become an integral part of the travel world, but there are still plenty of ambiguities to be cleared up. Full of enthusiasm, ATPI, Amadeus and KLM started a four-day NDC bootcamp on Monday. Above all, the primary goal is to exchange knowledge in order to make optimal use of the ever-developing NDC technology. ‘NDC is the future and we want to be fully ready for it,’ says Monique Verdonk of ATPI. As is well known, New Distribution Capability was once developed by IATA and has been in development for at least a decade. Nevertheless, it is expected that NDC will continue to improve and will become even more of an indispensable link between airline and business travel specialist.
