The Calamity Fund is working with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to retrieve Dutch nationals from Israel. Two flights are scheduled for this week. This is confirmed by Erik Jan Reuver, director of the Calamity Fund, when asked to TravMagazine. ‘We are currently in consultation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to see what we can do to bring travellers back.’ The ANVR sent an appeal to its members on Tuesday afternoon asking travel organizations that currently have travelers in Israel to report this. In recent days, ANVR and Calamity Fund have been in contact with several travel companies with travelers in Israel. The ANVR cites current developments in Israel as the reason, citing the importance of travel agents contacting them. You can do so at info@calamiteitenfonds.nl. The Foreign Ministry has asked KLM for a repatriation flight to bring people back from Israel, anp reported earlier. One of these would be operated by KLM.
