The bankruptcy of FTI has caused a lot of unrest among travelers and travel agents, and Corendon announced today that it wants to help and unburden travel agents and consumers by offering them the opportunity to book the same trip for the same travel price. Because many departing FTI passengers were scheduled to depart from German and regional airports, Corendon has opened a (temporary) extra offer to sister organization(s) that fly from there to accommodate this passenger. The tour operator’s (temporary) offer means that customers can book the same journey at the same price they paid with FTI, with travel agents receiving additional commission on the (FTI) rebookings. Corendon also indicates that it is open to flexible rebooking for an adapted travel arrangement. People can also choose to fly from Schiphol, for example, or book a trip to another destination.
