Delta will restart daily service between Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS) and Tampa International Airport (TPA) on October 27 this winter season. The new service will be operated on an Airbus A330-300 aircraft, with a choice of Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin. This route strengthens the airline’s Florida-Europe network and complements existing winter season services between Amsterdam and Orlando (MCO). Delta also flies year-round from Amsterdam to Atlanta (ATL), Boston (BOS), Detroit (DTW), Minneapolis/St Paul (MSP), New York (JFK), Portland (PDX), Salt Lake City (SLC) and Seattle (SEA). With Delta’s joint venture partners, the connectivity to Florida is very extensive. KLM and Air France offer flights between Miami and Paris, while Virgin Atlantic flies from both Miami and Tampa to London Heathrow (LHR) and from Orlando to both Manchester and LHR. “By seamlessly connecting Delta’s largest hub in Europe with Tampa’s well-known beaches, Delta provides a gateway for travelers to explore the best of Europe and the Americas,” said Matteo Curcio, Senior Vice President for Europe, Middle East, Africa and India at Delta. “With our premium amenities and extensive global network, travelers have a lot to enjoy this coming winter season.”
