KLM will again suspend flights to Tel Aviv in July due to ‘the ongoing unrest’. The airline will not fly to the Israeli city until at least the end of August. KLM had just resumed its flights to Tel Aviv last month. These were halted after the October 7 attacks on Israel by the Hamas terror organization last year, in which at least 1,300 civilians and military personnel were killed and more than 3,400 injured. In the course of April, KLM also briefly suspended its flights to Tel Aviv after Iran fired drones at Israel. KLM’s flights are operated via a stopover in Cyprus, so the crew does not have to spend the night in Israel. Photo: Tel Aviv airport (Photo: Shutterstock).
