That’s an average of 69,000 departing passengers per day and about 81,500 departing passengers per day on peak days. According to the airport, travelers mainly fly to sunny destinations, such as Spain and Greece, but Great Britain is also popular. The aviation sector advises travellers to prepare well and has come up with a top 10 travel tips, which was created in collaboration with KLM, Transavia, TUI, easyJet, the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee and Customs Netherlands. One of the ten tips is to book a free time slot for the security check. This can be done as early as three days before departure.
