The personalised web app Sunny2go, which Sunny Cars customers can use for additional services before and during the car rental period, has once again been expanded with new applications. For example, customers anywhere in the world can use free data, use artificial intelligence (AI) to create a customized city tour and download free magazines. Sunny2go is the personal travel assistant of Sunny Cars that allows you, as a renter, to discover the most beautiful places in your holiday destination. Users receive free lounge access in the event of flight delays, chat with the concierge for local tips, map out driving routes and easily find parking. All services are free to use and are designed to make the customer’s holiday even more enjoyable and relaxing, says the car rental specialist. Customers don’t have to worry about running out of data on the road, as they now receive 1GB of data allowance for free for 7 days. Thanks to this free data, customers can access Sunny2go from anywhere in the world. If needed, they can purchase additional data. The latest addition is only two weeks old: the Mediabox. With this, holidaymakers have the opportunity to download five e-magazines for free. The offer ranges from leisure and fashion magazines to car and business magazines. The offer can be used throughout the trip: on the plane or even on the last day of the trip. The web application also offers the possibility to generate tailor-made trips in the city of the holiday destination. Through AI, a tailor-made route is put together for the customer. Another useful feature is that you can ask for a restaurant recommendation, ranging from budget to normal to high end. These tips are stored in the route. “Last year, more than 270,000 customers used Sunny2go,” says Hans Knottnerus, Managing Director Netherlands, Belgium and France at Sunny Cars. He says that the optimization of Sunny2go will continue in 2024. “Our focus is therefore on arranging the car rental experience of our customers down to the last detail. Because in addition to the above additions, Parkopedia has also been expanded. This way, customers with an electric rental car can find the nearest charging station in no time.
