TUI will fly a combination flight to Zanzibar and Kenya next winter. It flies twice a week with its own Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Zanzibar has grown to an unprecedented level of popularity in the past year, says TUI. The travel company expects that demand to continue. To ensure that there remains a suitable supply for that demand, the company’s own flights are now being launched. There are flights on Mondays and Thursdays, with a schedule Amsterdam – Zanzibar – Mombasa – Amsterdam. The Dreamliner offers three classes on board: Economy, Comfort and Deluxe. The offer consists of package holidays for beach holidays, various safari tours, round trips and ticket only. Zanzibar has become a real traveller’s darling in recent years and has seen tremendous growth, says TUI, which cites the dazzling beaches, the history and culture of Stone Town and the hospitable people. The small time difference of 2 hours also makes a trip to Zanzibar attractive. As a big bonus, TUI mentions the proximity to the vast game parks on mainland Tanzania. ‘You can combine a beach stay with a safari of one or more days, within half an hour’s flight.’ TUI also offers its own accommodations such as RIU Jambo, RIU Palace Zanzibar and TUI Blue Bahari Zanzibar. Kenya is better known as a holiday destination and has been a top spot on the list of safari holidays for years. Kenya has 48 game parks and offers all the possibilities for a safari experience. Here, too, TUI offers a wide choice of hotels, from three-star budget hotels to five-star luxury on an all-inclusive basis. There are various combinations between short and longer safaris and hotel stays on the beach of Mombasa. The tours are already bookable. The package holidays and ticket only will be bookable soon.
