Live To Travel is looking for a Travel Consultant for the office in Almere who helps travel agents put together and book a dream trip. You are involved in the booking process from start to finish: from the moment the request comes in to the moment the traveller returns home. You communicate with travel agents and have daily contact with local agents of the destinations. You think along with the itinerary and choose the accommodations, you draw up the booking confirmation and invoice and take care of the travel documents. We are looking for someone who: – has a completed tourism education – has at least 2 years of experience in a similar position in the travel industry – has knowledge and/or travel experience in Africa
– Knowledge about Oceania and our beaches is an advantage – has excellent speaking and writing skills in Dutch and English – IATA knowledge (Amadeus is an advantage) – is stress resistant and knows how to get things done – dares to ask questions and shows initiative – don’t mind working on Saturdays every now and then during the high season (November to February) – can transfer his/her passion and knowledge to the customer What can we offer you : – a versatile position as a Travel Consultant for 32 or 40 hours per week – start date: in consultation – a salary above the collective labor agreement for the travel industry – pension scheme – a workplace including a laptop at our office in Almere
